The Beginning Farmer Project provides 6-week online courses to people with 0-10 years of farming experience. Courses are primarily taught by Cooperative Extension educators, and almost always include presentations by successful farmers or other farm professionals. We offer production courses suitable for beginners or experienced farmers adding a new enterprise, with topics including Mushrooms, Berries, Vegetables, Grains, and Poultry. We also offer Farm Business Management Courses from Quickbooks to writing a Business Plan.
